Operating Model
Remote practice with team members based across the Middle East and internationally. We embed with clients during engagements as needed.
Response expectations
The firm aims to respond promptly and to indicate clearly whether the inquiry is one it can usefully support. Not every matter leads to a formal engagement, and it is better to say that early than to imply a fit where there is none.
Confidentiality notice
Confidentiality is taken seriously from the first conversation. Where a matter is sensitive, that should be stated in the initial contact so that the communication can be handled appropriately.
Frequently asked questions
What types of organizations contact you?
We hear from diversified groups, family enterprises, listed companies, financial institutions, public-sector bodies, regulatory agencies, and operating companies navigating transitions. The common thread is consequential decisions at board or executive committee level.
How quickly do you respond to inquiries?
We aim to respond within two business days with either a preliminary reaction or a proposed time for an initial conversation. Response time depends on the complexity of the inquiry and current workload.
Do you work outside Saudi Arabia?
Yes. We work across the GCC states and the broader Middle East. We also advise selected international organizations with regional operations or strategic interests where our regional expertise adds value.
Can I contact you before defining a full scope?
Yes. An initial conversation is exactly the right way to test whether there is a fit and to begin framing the issue. We do not expect a fully specified problem from the first contact.
Do you maintain confidentiality of initial inquiries?
Absolutely. We do not share information about inquiries, preliminary discussions, or potential engagements without explicit permission. Client identities and project details remain confidential unless otherwise agreed.
What should I include in my first message?
A concise description of the situation, the decision or transition involved, your organization type, and why you believe external judgment could be useful. Do not include commercially sensitive details in the initial email if you prefer to discuss them verbally.
Will you commit to taking on my engagement?
No. We assess fit based on the problem scope, timing, capabilities required, and client-firm alignment. It is better to clarify early that the match is weak than to proceed without conviction.
How do you handle conflicts of interest?
We maintain strict independence. We do not hold equity positions in clients, earn referral fees, resell technology, or have other financial interests that could compromise advice. If a conflict exists, we decline the engagement.
Can you work on particularly sensitive board-level matters?
Yes. Sensitive governance, succession, performance, or institutional matters are ones we regularly address. Additional confidentiality protections can be established before substantive discussions begin if needed.
What is your approach to engagement fees?
Fees are project-based and agreed in advance based on scope, duration, complexity, and staffing. We do not charge hourly rates or markup expenses. Fee discussions are straightforward and transparent.
Start with the issue, not with a polished brief
A concise description of the decision, pressure point, or uncertainty is usually enough for an initial discussion.
